Precision Named Public Affairs Firm of the Year at 2019 Reed Awards
The Reed Awards recognize the very best of the political campaign and advocacy industries, and we’re thrilled to have been named this year’s Public Affairs Firm of the Year (More than 50 Employees).
Additionally, we won two awards for our outstanding campaign and digital work:
Best GOTV Campaign to Mobilize Diverse Communities
Stacey Abrams for Governor and the Democratic Party of Georgia
In 2018, Stacey Abrams ran in one of the closest and most closely watched races for governor in the country. In partnership with the existing team, Precision helped develop a strategy that reached new voters in new corners of the state. While Abrams ultimately didn’t win, her historic campaign came closer than virtually anyone thought possible, inspired Democrats across the nation, contributed to landmark downballot wins in the state, and charted the course for the next generation of progressive candidates in Georgia. The state saw some of the highest Black turnout in the nation. Likewise, Democrats cemented gains in suburban counties, like in Gwinnett County, where Abrams took home 57 percent of the vote in part because Latino turnout quadrupled.
Best Microsite – Democratic “Where’s Walker”
Microsite for the Polis for Colorado Campaign
To win over Colorado’s many independent voters, Jared Polis’s campaign for governor needed to rise above the nasty discourse of national politics, while still making it clear why Coloradans shouldn’t vote for the other guy, who had a history of absenteeism in his current elected position. In partnership with the campaign’s digital team, Precision developed a suite of microsites, including “Where’s Walker,” that highlighted his opponents’ negative characteristics in a lighthearted and whimsical tone without “going negative”. But don’t take our word for it. Check out the microsite for yourself.
We’re honored to be recognized with these accolades and are proud of the work we do to break new ground with our clients.
