Precision Promotes Five Agency Senior Leaders; Adds Mike Spahn As Partner
Precision is pleased to announce that five of the agency’s senior team members were promoted to new leadership roles: Mike Spahn was named a Partner, Precision’s first-ever non-founder Partner; Erin Lindsay and Deirdre Murphy Ramsey were elevated to Managing Directors in Digital and Communications respectively; and Krishana Davis and Katie Tilson were promoted to Directors in Digital.
As a Partner, Mike Spahn joins Founding Partners Stephanie Cutter and Teddy Goff in overseeing the agency across departments, driving business development, and setting strategy for employee and client teams. Spahn joined Precision in early 2019 with nearly two decades of experience working at the center of policy and politics, most recently as Chief of Staff to Senator Patty Murray (D-WA). At Precision, he’s provided strategic counsel to several Fortune 50 companies, causes, and political candidates navigating complex issues, and has expanded the agency’s work to national public affairs campaigns. Through his leadership, Spahn helped Precision earn the Public Affairs Agency of the Year award at both the North American and Global 2020 SABRE Awards.
Both Erin Lindsay and Deirdre Murphy Ramsey joined Precision in 2014 — two of the agency’s earliest employees — and helped build the agency from the ground up. They are both recent honorees on PRWeek’s Hall of Femme “Women to Watch” list. A driving force within Precision’s digital team, Lindsay’s leadership helped Precision win PRovoke’s 2021 Digital Agency of the Year. Murphy Ramsey’s expert counsel across financial, sports, nonprofit, and advocacy clients has built multiple award-winning campaigns — most recently launching the IBM Policy Lab which earned recognition from Fast Company, PRovoke Media, and PR Daily.
Upon joining Precision in early 2019, Krishana Davis and Katie Tilson quickly distinguished themselves as leaders of the digital team. They are also co-chairs of Precision’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee. In 2021, Davis was named to PRWeek’s Hall of Femme “Women to Watch” list and recently led a voter mobilization campaign for SEIU that earned award recognition from PRovoke Media, Cynopsis Media, and Campaigns & Elections. Tilson serves as client lead for several of Precision’s top clients, helping to launch a national advocacy campaign for COVID-19 relief for small businesses; develop national corporate social responsibility campaigns for Fortune 100 companies; and design nonprofit campaigns to help protect voting rights for all.
“Precision’s growth as an agency, innovative and award-winning work, and critical contributions to important social movements are largely due the contributions of Mike, Deirdre, Erin, Katie, and Krishana,” said Founding Partners Stephanie Cutter and Teddy Goff. “They elevated our thinking, challenged us to be better, and nurtured our culture in so many ways that we wanted to both recognize their efforts while also providing a greater platform for them to contribute to Precision’s future.”
