Aaron Cahan is the executive producer for video at Precision. He leads the video and creative team producing integrated projects that support our clients’ communications strategies.
With two decades of experience in commercial and documentary production, Aaron specializes in making the most innovative and creative work come to life. Working across industries at Precision— from multi-part documentaries in healthcare to award-winning rapid-response ads for advocacy clients— Aaron is always identifying ways to reach new audiences and tell our clients’ stories.
Work at Precision has taken Aaron across the country on film shoots, working in hurricane disaster areas and border towns, in noisy machine shops, shooting hoops with Caitlin Clark, and being invited into the homes of countless individuals to help tell their stories.
Aaron has studied polls and written scripts for Planned Parenthood of America, helped Governor Jared Polis find his singing voice, traveled along with the students of March for Our Lives, and built a 1,000 piece lego set (only to smash it) for video projects.
In 2024 Aaron produced more than 15 videos as part of the Democratic National Convention. He also had the opportunity to create dozens individual portraits of Small Business Owners for 10,000 Small Business Voices.
Aaron’s work has been honored by the Webby’s, Shorties, Pollies, and Reed Awards. Before joining Precision Aaron was the Head of Production at WIN and served as the Director of Video at New York City Hall. Aaron studied film and television at NYU’s Tisch School. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and adorable son.
