Aleigha Cavalier is a nationally recognized communications and political strategist with more than fifteen years of experience in politics, media, advocacy, and government. She has designed and executed dozens of campaigns that have created viral moments, shaped public opinion, elected Presidents, and driven high-level policy changes.
At Precision, Aleigha is a Senior Vice President who helps political, advocacy, and corporate clients achieve their goals by designing, executing, and winning campaigns that garner major grassroots support. She also helps clients solve political problems and navigate the Washington, D.C and American political landscape at large, particularly in legislatively complex states like Pennsylvania and California. Her clients have included Fortune 500 companies, leading Reproductive Rights organizations like EMILY’s List and Planned Parenthood, Wall Street executives, and multiple national and international political organizations. In 2024, she also was the lead producer of the Democratic National Convention’s critically acclaimed “Roll Call” programming.
Prior to joining Precision, Aleigha served in the White House Office of Political Strategy and Outreach during the Biden-Harris administration, where she managed the climate and education political portfolios on behalf of the White House and led strategic planning for the Second Gentleman and the Cabinet. She also was the Northeast states director for the Biden for President campaign in 2020, securing wins in the crucial states of Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Hampshire, and Maine. She previously was communications director at NextGen America, and has served as the primary spokesperson for multiple political candidates and business leaders, including former Congressman Beto O’Rourke, Governor Deval Patrick, and Tom Steyer.
Aleigha is a first generation college graduate from Western Pennsylvania and got her start in Pittsburgh politics. She holds a master’s degree in strategic public relations from the George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in English writing and political science from the University of Pittsburgh. She lives in New York City and is frequently featured in national and local political commentary.
