Ben Becker is a communications strategist and crisis manager with nearly 20 years of experience in congressional, advocacy, issue-based, and corporate communications.

At Precision, Ben works with a range of political, non-profit, advocacy, and corporate clients to develop, execute, and manage integrated, multi-platform campaigns to influence audiences and shape public narrative. With an emphasis on message and strategy development, crisis management, media training, and litigation strategy, Ben has overseen Precision’s work with a constellation of clients — including the ACLU, the Human Rights Campaign, Planned Parenthood, SAG-AFTRA, Lambda Legal, the Smithsonian Institution, and a range of healthcare clients, among others. His work has helped to play a central role in engineering and managing strategies for several landmark Supreme Court cases and other high-profile litigation, state ballot initiatives, federal and state legislative advocacy campaigns, U.S. Senate confirmation battles, and public education initiatives — on a range of issues ranging from criminal justice reform to healthcare access to marriage equality.

Before joining Precision, Ben worked for U.S. Sen. Debbie Stabenow where he helped to craft and manage messaging and communications strategy around high-profile legislative victories including the reauthorization of the Farm Bill and other critical priorities including food assistance, conservation policy, international trade, and nutrition policy. Ben began his work in the U.S. Senate under Sen. Blanche Lincoln, before which he worked at the Glover Park Group where he focused on clients in the energy, climate, environment, and sustainability spaces. He also helped craft and execute targeted, issue-based campaigns for an array of corporate and non-profit clients at FD Dittus Communications as well as the public affairs firm SDI.

Ben holds a Master of Arts degree from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University.
