Cate is a senior vice president on Precision’s digital team, where she provides strategic guidance to organizations looking to deepen their online relationships with stakeholders. Clients including the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, Communities in Schools, and the National Portrait Gallery have leveraged her guidance to maximize the impact of major announcements and moments. Cate works on both the strategy and creative sides of digital and has developed award-winning paid media for John Hickenlooper’s 2020 Senate campaign and Care in Action.
Prior to joining Precision, Cate was the digital director on Senator Bob Casey’s 2018 re-election campaign, where she managed online messaging, fundraising, and organizing in a critical race. She spent the 2014 and 2016 campaign cycles at the Democratic National Committee, where she managed the organization’s website and social media strategy while also running political social media accounts for various Democratic leaders, including then-Vice President Joe Biden.
Cate holds a M.S. in social policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.A. from the College of William & Mary. She serves on the board of YMCA Camp Icaghowan. Cate lives in New York.
