Emma West is a senior associate on the digital team who aims to harness the power of language in pursuit of progressive digital strategy.
At Precision, she crafts innovative content and messaging to engage audiences for a wide range of clients and projects, such as catalyzing the Department of Justice’s antitrust lawsuit against Ticketmaster; the announcement that the pandas are returning to the Smithsonian Zoo; helping one of the nation’s leading nonprofits fight for Americans’ civil rights; and raising money to pay the Earth’s lawyers.
Prior to joining Precision, Emma spent time as a public affairs contractor at the American Planning Association, a nonprofit supporting urban and regional planners through research, outreach, and advocacy. Previously, Emma held internships in the offices of her district attorney and state legislator in Massachusetts.
Emma holds a B.A. from Colby College in Government with minors in Economics and Creative Writing. Her honors thesis utilized original survey data to investigate the connection between satire and negative partisanship; she also supported mobilization efforts as Co-President of Colby Democrats.
Emma grew up in Westborough, MA (Go Sox) and is currently based in Washington, DC.
