Emma West is a senior associate on the digital team who aims to harness the power of language in pursuit of progressive digital strategy. At Precision, she supports a wide range of client projects — including the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, Cherokee Nation, and General Electric — through research, strategic development, and crafting copy.
Prior to joining Precision, Emma spent time as a public affairs contractor at the American Planning Association, a nonprofit supporting regional planners through research, outreach, and advocacy. Before that, Emma was an intern for Massachusetts State Representative Hannah Kane, a publishing agency, and her local district attorney’s office.
Emma holds a B.A. from Colby College in Government, Economics, and Creative Writing. Her honors thesis utilized original survey data to investigate the connection between satire and negative partisanship; she also supported mobilization efforts as Co-President of Colby Democrats. Emma grew up in Westborough, Massachusetts (Go Sox) and is currently based in Washington, DC.
