Genesis Zimmermon

Genesis Zimmermon (she/her) is an associate on the mobilization and campaign management team at Precision. She helps nonprofit and corporate clients build strategic plans to meet their goals through grassroots engagement, grasstops outreach, and more.

At Precision, Genesis has worked with clients, including Blue Leadership Collaborative and Gilead Sciences’ Advancing Health and Black Equity team, to organize events, manage coalitions, monitor and analyze media, develop strategy memos, and more. She also helps develop content for campaigns’ email and web needs and assists with general administrative duties to keep short- and long-term projects running smoothly.

Prior to joining Precision, Genesis was the regional and political action committee finance assistant at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), where she supported day-to-day fundraising operations with the development and execution events and trips benefitting the committee, all while working with members of Congress and the donor and PAC community in the DMV area.

Genesis graduated with a degree in political science from Howard University. She was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, and currently lives in Washington, D.C.
