Molly McInerney is a communications and creative strategist who specializes in helping clients find creative and compelling ways to communicate their message, reach their audience, and achieve their goals online.
As a principal on Precision’s digital strategy team, she managed the Gates Foundation’s brand social channels, leading ideation, copywriting, and creative asset development for Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, and Threads, reaching a combined audience of 4.25 million. She’s also worked to craft digital thought leadership for a Fortune 50 technology executive, helping advance the company’s positioning on AI safety and trust, global tech policy, and data privacy.
Before joining Precision, Molly was an early employee at the polling and political tech start-up, Change Research, where she helped lead the company’s communications, marketing, and business development. At Change Research, she managed the company’s polling partnerships with media outlets like Crooked Media and Teen Vogue, crafting content that explored the political divide between young men and women and the opinions of infrequent voters in battleground states. She also partnered with political, advocacy, and private sector clients to design robust qualitative and quantitative research programs.
A proud fourth-generation San Francisco Bay Area native, Molly holds a B.A. in Public Policy, with a concentration in international policy and politics, from the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. She currently lives in New York City.
