The Lost Promise of Reconstruction by Eric Foner
Samuel Tuero is a senior associate on the digital team, where he helps implement targeted digital campaigns across a range of corporate, nonprofit, and advocacy clients. He specializes in email marketing and producing engaging email and social media campaign content that helps clients hone their digital voice, leverage their audiences to tell compelling stories, and optimize performance.
During his time at Precision, he has led email strategy for the Gates Foundation’s premier program, The Optimist, and helped successfully launch Portraits of Human Potential, a global newsletter, and supported the launch of America’s Invitation to kick off the commemoration of America’s 250th anniversary for America250. Sam’s work also spans strategic planning, content development, and utilizing data-backed tactics to create impactful campaigns for clients like the American Federation of Teachers Union, and the National Domestic Workers Alliance to stand up for teachers, students, and workers’ rights and others.
Before joining Precision, Sam interned at Mi Familia Vota, a national nonprofit dedicated to building Latino and immigrant political power through civic engagement. He managed the organization’s digital advocacy actions, including daily support for its state affiliates. Prior to that, he worked as a field organizer on the Biden for President Coordinated Campaign in Pennsylvania. He’s also held internships in Congress and with other political campaigns and advocacy organizations, honing his expertise in communications and grassroots organizing.
Born in New York but raised in New Jersey, Sam continues to call the Garden State home. Sam graduated cum laude from Rutgers University-Camden with a degree in Political Science and a certificate in national security.
